Bee Vac Question
« on: July 02, 2006, 12:59:59 am »
I made a bee vac out of a shop vac by restricting the vacuum and lining the inside of the vac with a pillow case. it works great. i have used it twice now and as far as I can tell, it did not kill a single bee either time. HOWEVER, they are extremely mad when I do let them out. Both times i dumped them into a hive like a package of bees and both times, I got eat up by upset bees. I took 8 to 10 stings today through my jeans and jacket.

Does anyone know a good way to get them out of the vac and into a hive without getting swallowed in mad bees?
