Very gentle indeed!  How much of that was honey? Looked like there was quite a bit.

Definitely a good queen to have with her hive's gentle nature.

Nice job Schawee. JP probably would have missed that queen altogether right?

Why did you go above and remove the carpet and then have to cut the floor, when in the apartment below you could have laid some plastic down and just taken a section of sheet rock.  Please explain to newbee thought process behind this approach.
Thx

That certainly looked like fun.  Those are the ones I like, but I usually end up with the jobs requiring you to be upside down and twisted into weird shapes.

Thanks schawee, fun to watch somebody else.

I'm dying to see some gator action though, quit with the bees already and kill something!

Schawee, glad you had the chance to finally put this one up. Great job on a monumental undertaking! At 9:37 I think it is, they really need to add a few more Xs to that banner!  :-D

You really did an awesome job with this one Schawee. Thanks again for taking care of these people!

I will answer this question Jack as I am the one who sold the job. Anyone can cut sheetrock but it takes a professional to remove a section of flooring, remove a hive and put the floor back down!  :-D

Being a little sarcastic, kidding some but also there is truth to my statement.

In a nutshell, cutting the sheetrock is an option but so is the one we took here. If the floor is opened and put back in place the customer doesn't have to deal with a sheetrock repair. This is the option the customer chose and the one I prefer.

hawk,i had about 12 gallons of honey and i marked this hive to do some grafting....blevinsbee,he probabley wouldn't have cause he don't want to put his seeing glasses on :-Djust saying........jack jp answered this and i agree with it.......lenape ,this was a fun cutout.it would be nice to have all cutouts like this but that don't happen.so when you get one like this it makes it fun. .....don, i have a few videos i made this gator season, we didn't fill out the tages. we had 50  and i turned in 40 last week.the water was so high and the price so low and i didn't need any to mount. we had the landowner's grandkids and my grand kids one day .we let them set lines in the fishing ponds and had 6 hunters i had to take care of the next weekend.when i get a chance i will put a vid up on the gator hunt......jp thanks for the compliments buddy, you know i would help you out anytime you need it.........larry glad you liked it .....annette i gave honey to like six people.whoever wanted some got some.      .......schawee

Thanks, I see the reasoning, and besides, it is nice to work from a sitting position instead of overhead, I am sure.  I do enjoy going thru all you guys cutout videos.

Jack, I have done my fair share of overhead removals and let me tell you, they suck! I don't really have an affinity for honey dripping down on me!  :-P

Even worse, the last overhead job that we did, the bees had absconded one section and the roaches took over. They turned the old section of hive into 3 inch deep poop that dropped on us when we opened it up. Now that's nasty.
