I do! With all of this rain we have had it will be an interesting season! I just wish they would hurry up :) I reckon next consecutive days of warm weather the calls might start!

I've got another call for a cutout today. At this rate I wont have anything left to put swarms in.

Really? I still haven't had any calls from the website yet (assuming that's where this one came from). What is it in and how big? Do you want those plans for the nucs I made?

I am just on my way to see it. From the description it is another one in the wall of a bungalow. Assuming it is bees and not wasps again...

I will decide after that whether or not I need to worry.

Yep they're bees!

Some challenge, but not too much. They can't all be as easy as that last one I did!

They are in the wall of a bungalow at the end of a cul de sac with a bung wall on the right and the neighbour's brick wall on the left. Hopefully they are only in the one section of the wall. If they extend around the corner to the neighbour's side It will be extremely difficult to access that section of the nest. The wall is asbestos sheeting with a 1.2m gas hotwater service sitting in front of it.

The plan is to rip as much of the asbestos sheet off the wall above the heater as possible to access the comb. I was told they have only been there for about a year, so hopefully they do not have too much comb in there.

Oh yeah!

I'm also planning on checking both my hives and transfering the small feral out of my nuc into the new custodian's own box and building another box or two...

I got another box and 16 frames and foundation. Should be enough to get me through the weekend, after that I will probably raid Bob's.
