What's brown bloody and lies twitching in a ditch?

A brunette that told one too many blond jokes.

How's that?

Maybe at Bud3s Irwin, Schawee and myself can do a removal while wearing that guy's pink ballerina suit. That would make for some good video, ya think?

Ha, Ha! I get the suggestion.  ;)

No.

While it was originally intended to be funny based on a conversation, I think way too many on this forum, probably saw more into it then what was intended. I am not out to offend, even by humor, any group of people.

Well, maybe blonds...... :-D

Yeah, but who was it that beat her up and threw her in the ditch? Since blondes aren't supposed to be able to get blonde jokes. Just sayin'  ;)

It promotes beating brunettes to death. How is that different. Both are groups of people.

Lets quit the little games.

What part of the "against diversity, for ethical separation, and the right to tell off colored jokes" is telling a blond joke supporting? I'm not suggesting we need to stop telling jokes. But when people start claiming they should come here and be able to tell off-colored jokes, express opinions against tolerance or diversity, and ideas of ethical separation, it goes way beyond the simply humor of a blond joke. It's not about jokes anymore, it's supporting and promotion of a belief and value system, which some may find questionable.

I can find one to be funny (blond joke), without the joke actually promoting violence, etc.

The other, I find, promoting a belief system, a personal value system, and a particular viewpoint against gays. I suspected as much in the original joke, and comments since only confirmed it.

Apparently you can not see the difference, in my opinion.

Oh well....

I noticed you mentioned wife bashing.... or "off colored" jokes about wives. What about husbands?

You did see the one about the husband stumbling around in the back yard?

Thanks for making my point. You think "against diversity, for ethical separation, and the right to tell off colored jokes" is wrong, and should be done away with.

I think "against diversity, for ethical separation, and the right to tell off colored jokes" is totally the right way of life, and should be promoted.

Now, who made you God and knows all the correct stuff, and who is to say I am totally in the wrong.

You have your opinions and I have mine. You believe it was wrong even when the majority thought it was right. Why, then, shouldn't I still think it's right when the majority think it's wrong?

Opinions are like &^%holes, every one has one and most of them stink.

I think I already understand that. But I ask how do you know what I do, and what I don't think? I was repeating only what you said earlier. My original comment had to with asking why anyone would feel compelled to come here (or any forum) and tell off colored jokes, or express the attitudes you do. I don't see it as a "right" thing, as much as a lack of respect for others.

Now, who made you God and knows all the correct stuff, and who is to say I am totally in the wrong.

Nobody did. Just expressing my opinion.

You have your opinions and I have mine. You believe it was wrong even when the majority thought it was right. Why, then, shouldn't I still think it's right when the majority think it's wrong?

Yeah....I can express my opinion even without sticking up my finger to the wind and seeing if I am in the majority. Does that make me better or less than the one afraid to stand up except for when being in the majority?

Opinions are like &^%holes, every one has one and most of them stink.

Yes they do. Just like the "majority" you claim, and standing behind....  ;)

Well you know all us inbred southerners are rednecks that live in mobile homes with at least six hound dogs that sleep on the porch, or in the bed if it is a cold night. They help chase away all the possums and coons and squirrels that try to nest in all our broken down pickup trucks that are scattered around the yard.

We have had off colored jokes told about us for so long we just really don't know what an off colored joke is. I thought it might be jokes about white people, but you know with my third grade education I just don't know. The only way I got out of the third grade was the school burned down.

Well, BJ, now we agree. We can all express our opinion and still be friends.
Here's to you...  :cheer:

As for forums, anything goes that the owners allow.
Nothing goes that the owners don't allow.
That's just the way it is.

I bet them were some cute lil spiders too....where's PETA when you need them???

Scott
"In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American...There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag...We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language...And we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people."
