Mason Bees Working in Nest Blocks
« on: May 14, 2011, 11:45:16 am »
This is a video of the Blue Orchard Bees working in their nest blocks.  The box on the left is my release box.  The tubes are pulled from the nest blocks in the winter and stored.  I put the nest block up before they would emerge naturally to allow them to come out on there own.  The screen is to keep them from going back in and using the old tubes.

They give more milk if you play music for them.
