Hive paint

Would it hurt to paint some of the hives while the bees are in them if I am using Latex paint? It would dry pretty darn quick.

Ya, paint them.  Do a search here and you will find pages of the same.

I did it just last week and didn't have any problems.  Even painted the entrance/bottom board but did that late in the evening when they weren't using it too much to come and go.  Painted one half of it so they could hang out on the other half.  Let it dry a few minutes.  Then painted the other half.  I think I only got paint on two bees :imsorry:
