Title: Yrouble with Beemaster
Post by: Wits End on July 29, 2012, 10:08:00 am
For the last couple of weeks it has been taking several minutes to load the Beemaster home page and when I click "Show unread posts since last visit" it shows 0 then offers a "click here for all unread posts". Anyone else notice this? I know the "show unread posts" is most everyones first link clicked. And it is usually a couple of days between visits. Just wondering...

Will not show unread posts since last visit. I have not had this problem before ever. Loads as fast as always.
Someone needs to look into it for us. Rob you out there?

Still on the home PC.
This is the syptoms. Running IE click the URL to go to beemaster. Does not load immediately and times out to a can not connect page then click refresh and the beemaster forum page pops up. Click on unread posts and I get a page and no unread posts.

It seems as if when I click the bookmark sending a second request it gets the page loaded instantly. As Akthyp stated in firefox I cleared my history completely and things worked much better. This new version of firefox seems to want to remember a lot of things.
When Robo is available I'm sure he'll look into things.

Alrighty, I've been seeing the same slow/no-load-on-first-attempt stuff.

Tonight on a different machine, I got this:

(http://s16.postimage.org/81s3ljikx/BIBF.jpg) (http://postimage.org/image/81s3ljikx/)

Now, I have no idea why Firefix is attempting to light-up Adobe for the main forum page. However since the Adobe Reader is such a slow pig of a program these days, it may be the problem.

Where on the main page that Firefox thinks there is something for Adobe to do, would be the cause. Perhaps some new artwork or something....

It's been fixed for me for a couple of days now though I've done nothing different.
