Selling Bee goods
« on: December 29, 2013, 12:18:47 pm »
Ok I know honey is pretty easy to market and sell..... What about Bee pollen ,wax, bee glue?
I see Bee Supply houses selling pollen traps , but they never explain what to do with it once collected.
Who would a Hobby Bee Keeper go about selling pollen to? I know it ruins fast. I also know how pricey bee pollen tabs are in stores.
How buys glue and wax?
What prices can one expect to get from these products?

Im not in this to purley make money. I just enjoy working with nature and the outdoors in general, but wont turn away. A chance to subsidize my new hobby.

When you harvest pollen put in the freezer, then you can Clean and dry it later when you have time .

when it is dry it is a stable product and stored properly will last.

The same people that buy honey usually will also buy other products from the hive.
