Howdy Everyone - I am a wanta-bee from West Michigan. My total experience with honeybees is/was being scared to death of them when I was a kid! I hope to start out with two packages of bees ( Carniolans) and three TBHives.

Hello and Welcome!
I'm sure you'll find this forum to be an informative place to learn about bees and beekeeping.
I recommend that you get involved with a local club. Clubs often offer beginning beekeeping classes and are great places to find mentors and get connected to nearby beekeepers. Hopefully one of these is near you:

Don't forget to update your profile to include your location. Much of beekeeping is location-specific, so we'll be able to answer your questions better if we know where you are.

Welcome to the site and good luck with your bees when you get them. Too bad that you have to wait till spring. Larry
