Hi Folks, just wondering what looks like flowering in your area this season and where are you roughly? Anyone from up near the Murray River or near Little Desert?

I have 9 hives in Glen Waverley, Melbourne. I have walked the local streets and there are heaps and I mean heaps of flowering shrubs! Both ornamental and natives like grevillas and banksia's. Some late bloom blossoms are flowering which the bees appreciate. The ones i have in the Yarra Valley some sporadic eucalyptus (mess gum) is in flower.

Very local Gippsland, eucalypts, wattle, apple, lavender, rosemary, clover, capeweed (not much fortunately), camelias (50 of them) and hawthorn. Should label the honey Geoffs 57 Varieties.

Geoff,
You don't like the capeweed? What are they getting off the camellias, pollen?
