From the look of it and where it is that you live, I would guess that it is some ssort of Euonymous plant ( pronounced closely to anonymous)
IT comes in a vary of colours and styles from light green to dark green to varigated.
It is very prolific and is often seen on the sides of the roads as an errosion control plant. It is abundant, and the BEES do LOVE IT!!!! I have had a slew of them on the plant here at my house too.
I dont know if I spelled the name correctly, though the plant is very prolific.
