Title: feeding pattys when??
Post by: the kid on February 15, 2008, 01:04:06 am: I m in MN and would like to know when should I start feeding patty .... right now there taking candy ,, each day that the timp is up I put in some candy and they eat it in 3 to 4 days ,, and I put a lot in at a time ... but now when does the patty go in ....
talk about the girls beeing pi--y ,, but then yesterday it hit me ,, wearing black didnt help . :?

Post by: Michael Bush on February 15, 2008, 01:19:54 am: Probably about now would be a good time for pollen patties. But then you are further north than me. You really don't have to feed any at all. They won't be that active until the maples bloom anyway and then they won't need them.

Most beekeepers in our area are beginning the pollen patty feed. Have a wonderful and awesome day, love life. Cindi
