Title: feeding pattys when??

I m in MN and would like to know when should I start feeding patty ....  right now there taking candy ,, each day that the timp is up I put in some candy and they eat it in 3  to 4 days ,, and I put a lot in at a time ...            but now when does the patty go in ....
talk about the girls beeing pi--y ,, but then yesterday it hit me ,, wearing black didnt help .  :?

Probably about now would be a good time for pollen patties.  But then you are further north than me.  You really don't have to feed any at all.  They won't be that active until the maples bloom anyway and then they won't need them.

then maybe Ill wait till it gets up around   35  40 ,, just thought they may need some for brood ...

I will be feeding pollen patties today, the skies this morning are clear, the sun will shine, and the weather station says that we will hit 10C (50F), so it should be a good day for the bees.  Most beekeepers in our area are beginning the pollen patty feed.  Have a wonderful and awesome day, love life.  Cindi
