Title: Brood boxes

Hi I am new to bee keeping and i have had my new bees for 5 days now. How do I know when to install my second brood chamber? What am i looking for?

When they get the first brood box about 80% full add the next brood box.  What size supers are you using, 8 or 10 frames, medium or deep.  When they get comb built and start filling toward the sides swap the outside frames with the ones close to them.  Bees don't do the outside frames sometimes.  Good luck with your bees, Colins.
