WORLD APIARY MAP NEEDS MORE AUSSIES
« on: September 15, 2012, 03:10:52 am »
Hi All,

I bumbled across this whilst cruising the internet...

It has 2227 apiaries listed containing 41500 hives BUT there are bugger all Aussies pinned???

I think we should show the rest of the world how many great beeks we have "Down Under"

You can also tick the box which says you have honey available for sale ;-)

Nice idea but personally im not keen on the idea of making information on  the area on where my hives are located
so easily available when there are those out there that may use this information to steal from me, im sure there are
others that feel the same way as i do, re Neil

I can see your point rawfind... my hives are stationary and guarded by german shepherds though ;-)

If somebody wants to try their luck they can go for it - I'm sure I'll find it most entertaining...

From how you pin you don't have to be pin point to the degree or mention the amount you have...

Just wanted to let people know about it ;-)

Onya Lone, my favourite Aussie artist after Lone. We were born 10 years and 40 Kilometres apart ( thats John and myself, not Lone ).
