Thank you for the links. They were very interesting and eye-opening  :). I am not in beekeeping to make a ton of money or honey, but maybe I will keep the foundation in my honey supers, at least! Every little bit helps!!

Yes very interesting.  I wonder why old comb out performs new comb by a hair?  I would like to see the difference in plastic comb and regular.  Also brood production in these.  I have seen near, wall to wall brood production in plastic.  I have also seen very spotty brood patterns on foundation comb that worried me then only to see beautiful brood pattern on plastic in same colony.  Makes me wonder.
