I was showing a friend how the koi eat out of your hands this morning & there was a tiny koi!! It was about 2 inches long & right in there with the big ones!( 8-20") Must be from the June spawn as the Sept ones wouldn't be big enough to see yet. This is the 1st time any survived. Must be cause I let the pond go wild this summer being busy w/bees, chix & getting ready for my Dexter's to come!! Looked to be a shiny yellow but they can change colors for years. Most of the grown ones are the shiny, pearly type lighter colors as it is so gloomy here & they are easier to see. WOO HOO, more happy animals! Now I hope the cattle will do as well as everything else around here! If there was reincarnation I would want to come back as one of my animals!

Oh Jody, now isn't that just simply ding, dang cool!!! You see, leave Mother Nature to do her thing and she surprises you all the time, lucky you weren't fiddle-faddling with that pond this year, hee, hee. One day I would love to come down and see your cool place too, one never knows, I could become a travellin' gal, hee, hee. I hear your stories and tales of stuff at your place, and it reminds me of me....you are a mirror of myself, and your place could be only nothing short of interesting, to say the least. And as your handle depicts, I bet you could show me so many things to poke and prod. Keep those stories coming, girl!!! Have that most wonderfully awesome, beautiful day, Cindi
