Welcome aboard!  I think I can honestly say keeping bees is safer than diving with sharks.  Good luck in all oof your endeavours!

I'm sure you'll find this forum a great place to learn more about bees & beekeeping.

One of our members here, Brendhan, is President of the Palm Beach County Beekeepers. I highly recommend getting involved with a local beekeeping club, and I'm sure Brendhan & the gang would be eager to help you get started, provide mentoring etc.
