Passing On The Tradition
« on: September 30, 2007, 10:43:58 pm »
Another state fair entry from a couple of years ago.  While the closeup of the egg was of a more "technical" nature, this one is more "conceptual".  Colleen has the bee on her finger while our 2 year old granddaughter reaches our for it.  Tried to show the concept of passing the baton (or maybe that should be 'beeton') from one generation to the next.  The judge liked it.
Again, it was taken with my old Pentax 35mm.

Arvin, now that was a great picture, what a beautiful thought, your darling grandaughter, reaching for the bee, pretty thoughts come into my mind, now nice.  My husband has an old 35 mm Nikon he bought in 1967, it still takes the most beautiful pictures.  But he has changed over to a Nikon digital, but would never get rid of the 35 mm, will probably have it until end of days.  Have a wonderful day, best of this great life.  Cindi
