go online and look in a couple of the beekeeping catalogs.  if the stuff is in good shape, the extractor and tank are worth a bit.  the boxes don't look that bad in the pic.  i wouldn't worry about frames.  used frames are a PIA and i replace them.

If all the extractor and uncapping tank are all in working order then I would pay between $400 and $500 for everything in that pile.

I would probably be willing to pay $400-500, if I needed the equipment.

no frames or foundations. thanks Drac
No offence but anyone buying that lot is most likely interested in it for the extraction equipment. The boxes are just a bonus and if get them you best scorch them really well to kill anything that is still living in them.

The frame holders in the extractor appears to have rust as does the upper lip.  Check everything that would come in contact with the honey for rust well.  If they don't have rust $400 to $500 is generous.  If they do have rust, the more the lower the price.  It's not fun getting rid of rust.  This also assumes everything works properly, and you've got the time to clean up thoroughly.  Contactme_11 is right, the hive bodies are a bonus.

$400 -$500 sounds ok.  The question is what do you want to do regarding bees?

My general rule of thumb is half price for like new equipment.

The equipment in the picture is obviously old and rusty, not good for food processing without a lot of work cleaning and re-coating the interiors.  I have burned or given away better stuff.

Have you any idea of what chemical contamination or disease this stuff has been in contact with?

I think a hundred dollars is over generous.

OH no!  More pictures while I was posting,,,

If this guy is asking for money for this junk he's trying to rip you off.  Give him a quote for hauling it off for him then sell it to Specialkayme. ;)

No idea as to what it has come in contact with. I found out that they had bought the stuff used hoping to get into bee keeping and never got into it and its been just sitting around for a few years out side under 2 tarps and sitting on the ground!
