Title: painting melted beeswax on frames
Post by: adamant on April 16, 2013, 07:08:41 pm
I recently purchased a shamrock mini mating nuc . it was suggested to me that I paint melted  wax on the frames. See picture. is it too much wax on this frame?(http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/04/17/avaga6y3.jpg)

I would not worry about that thick wax.

IMHO mini mating nuc are a waste of resources if you are not raising Queens by the hundreds.
