Comfrey

The Comfrey gardens are just about done their blooming, I have several wild areas where this plant grows freely.  The bumblebees love it, the honeybees do not.  The flowers are too deep for the honeybees to get the nectar.  Some pretty pictures, the comfrey stands about 6 feet tall.  Great day. Note the orange pollen on the legs.

There are strange things done in the midnight sun by the men who moil for gold.  The Arctic trails have their secret tales that would make your blood run cold.  The Northern Lights have seen queer sights, but the queerest they ever did see, what the night on the marge of Lake Lebarge, I cremated Sam McGee.  Robert Service

Oh very nice, I always admire plants that flower in that circular fashion. Where a coiled vine of flowers uncurls as they bloom. They are nice.
