Is this weird?

I have a young rooster that looks like this

And four guineas that look like this..... only younger

Those four guineas are constantly following that rooster around.

Should I be worried?

Ohhh, how sweet! The barred rock coloring is sort of like guinea coloring so maby it's hero-worship?  I'm fairly sure they don't interbreed but don't know how close the species actually are.  I know ducks & muscovy do but the babies are sterile.  Soooo even if they do, there will only be 1 generation.  J.

Jerry, how cool is that!!!  I wonder, surely I do.  Like Jody said, when the breeds cross-breed like that, the offspring are called "mules".  I know that because I had a Muscovy that was progeny of a Muscovy bred with an Indian RunnerX and it did not have the red caruncles that the Muscovy had, they were black.  AngiH told me that and I looked it up and surely it was called a "mule".  Funny name.  YOu got some interesting stuff going on there, aren't you just loving having birds at your place?  I'm glad that you got into chickens and such, yeah!!!  Beautiful and most wonderful day, Cindi
There are strange things done in the midnight sun by the men who moil for gold.  The Arctic trails have their secret tales that would make your blood run cold.  The Northern Lights have seen queer sights, but the queerest they ever did see, what the night on the marge of Lake Lebarge, I cremated Sam McGee.  Robert Service
