Bee Keeping Magazine Selection/Recommendation
« on: January 27, 2010, 10:53:05 am »
I've been thinking about subscribing to a Bee Keeping Magazine, but I'm not very familiar with what's available and need a recommendation.  I guess I consider myself a serious hobbyist that wants to learn more. I have a technical background, but the magazine doesn't need to be a technical journal.  Any suggestions?

Regards,

I have subscribed to both Bee Culture and American Bee Journal and for me, I like American Bee Journal.

I don't buy it for the pictures.  I just buy it for the articles!  :-D

I get both BC and ABJ.  By the time you finish one the other ne shows up.  They both have good information and wish I would have gotten them when I first started.

How about this....call them up and request a free copy. That way, you can decide for yourself.  ;)

I love them both!  The ABJ is more technical than the BC, but they are both very good reading in my opinion.

I've moved to the digital version of Bee Culture and love it.  Not tried ABJ so can't comment on that one.
