Title: My Blog
Post by: nepenthes on September 23, 2006, 05:51:31 pm
Sence I love social insects... which is one of the reasons Im getting into Bee's alot more , I have a blog about them. Well it doesnt really go over a bunch of social insects, but It talks about a species of ant called Tetramorium caespitum, you probably know them as the pavement ant. They are very common and will swarm out of the Colony if disturbed.

Its in its begining phases but you might enjoy it.

Pretty cool!

We have an ant farm here, too. In fact, ant farms kind of segued into our bee habit.

We've got one of these...

michelleb I'm glad you have an interest in ants and all... but those things are HORRIBLE! they really aren't good for ants at all.

It doesnt really show how ants really dig naturaly and who wants to eat what they live and go to the bathroom in?

Theirs a sub forum ive posted allot about ants in http://forum.beemaster.com/index.php?board=79.0 . Thanks for taking interest in my blog though.
