Not sure what they're collecting, or where they're getting it...But they're still bringing in the Pollen.  :)

Mine ain't done squat the last couple of days but throw out dead bees. It's bee too cold and breezy.

Hey Moots, dprater, and other southern beeks.

Yall be sure to give us a heads up on swarm calls and queen cells. I figure I'm at least two weeks behind the good folks in La (Louisiana)(Lower Alabama).

Several governors ago, we had a governor who wanted the state of Alabama to buy part of the panhandle of Florida. (like it was for sell) I want to say it was Fob James. His claim to fame had something to do with inventing or perfecting the plastic coating around cement weights, as in weight lifting.

My favorite part of Florida is the nw panhandle area. I love Pensacola and I have spent weeks in the woods around Eglin AFB doing training. We never seen hardwalls there, just tents. We love going to Pensacola and working our way to Navarre(sp?) Beautiful white beaches and the closer you get to Navarre the more beach you have to yourself. We went down there last September and had areas to ourselves as large as football fields in both directions.

I wish we could find a good home spun sea food place down there. Any recommendations?

Yesterday, the low was 28°F with a high of 54°....It was probably around 50°, and nice and sunny when I took the picture.

They are bringing in orange pollen up here as well on Christmas day. They sure can't wait to get out of that hive once the teps get up high enough.
