The Varroa bomb went off in two of my hives. 24 hr drop over 200. Yesterday in went into one hive and found lots of bees not happy bees tho, no brood at all. I put in a treatment of API LIFE VAR.
I did not look for a Q. Would you guess that she is still in there and just not laying because of the health of the hive and will she start laying again?
I do have some smaller hives that I could combine with this one if they make it.

Has your hive swarmed? No brood and no queen.
A new queen starts to lay often when last brood have emerged.
However, you get you hive cleaned now.
Or buy a queen. It is surely possible.
Then that second hive. It has varroa too much ?
Make a false swarm. Treat swarm part with Api Var.
Let bees fly on drawn combs and put the queen lay there.
Then start varroa treatment in the brood hive. Once a week you give a treatment.
Destroy drones. They move easily mites to next door hives.
Important is that you get clean colonies for winter brooding.
