Are you Ben Stein from the "clear eyes" commercials?

What made you say that?

I know this may sound rude but a colony of 200,000 bees is extreamly uncommon.  Therefore, how could it even be possible to have 310 times that amount.   Sorry but I think you are off by 61,938,000.

He started early in the morning andspent all day counting the bees as they came in.

Even if he was counting all day at 100 bees a second that would take 630,000 seconds and there are only 86,400 seconds in a 24 hour period. (I love math  )

Grass clippings from a lawn mower that are getting a little brown make a great thick smoke to remove tons of bees, had to use it on my friends hive. :D

He only counted the bees comming in, he didn't subtract the bees going out! :D

As far as the burr comb, or a beautifully drawn piece of wild comb, I cut it, give it  one good rap to dislodge the bees,(I look it over carefully for a queen first) and chuck it out in the yard.  They clean it up pretty fast.  I guess I never got the knack of a bee brush.  Maybe if I bought one, I could learn.

Man, when I don't use my bee brush, I end up killing a bunch of bees when I but down the inner and outer covers.
