I have a great uncle and a cousin in Italy who keep bees as well as some aquiantances in France and Slovakia who keep bees also. For what it's worth, they all purchase their equipment (when they aren't making their own which is most of the time) from the U.K. or the U.S.A. The Italians do have a new extractor on the market that's supposed to be good.

I recently acquired and have been having good experience with the Saf Natura 9/18 stainless, motorized radial extractor.

Versis,

I don't recall but I believe it's in the new Betterbee catalogue.

The Swienty?
Everyone said it couldn't be done. But he with a chuckle replied, "I won't be one to say it is so, until I give it a try."  So he buckled right in with a trace of a grin.  If he had a worry he hid it and he started to sing as he tackled that thing that couldn't be done, and he did it.  (unknown)
