Too late to requeen?
« on: September 16, 2009, 11:15:48 pm »
I live in west central NC-zone #7.  When is it too late to requeen in the fall?  Is it too late already?  I'd like to buy 2 or 3 good quality queens to replace queens in my hot hives.  I always seem too busy in early spring.

I'd say get after it!  I think you should be just fine.  I plan on requeening my hives next fall about this same time!

I think it's the perfect time.  :)  Queens are available and well bred.
