Debra, welcome to our forum.  I hope that you can find someone who can help you to find that English speaking Italian in your neck of the woods.  But do spend some time here, you may get some very valuable information here to help you out.  Have a wonderful day, Cindi

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha....I 'tink da' name speaks for its self.  Besides, Sir Stungalot sounds much better than Sir Muchostupido which might, perhaps, be a better fit.

Clegs.......

My name has quite a story too... We were at an x-box overnighter for church and so I created an account on one of the guy's x-boxes. The first thing that came to mind was C-Legs... for that's what my friends dad called me when we bolled. So that was what I used for my user name Clegs. I did forget to add the dash (I thought it was C-Legs not Sea Legs) and capitalize the L. After a few hours of playing someone looked on the top of the list and saw in the number one spot... Clegs.
They yelled, "Who's Clegs?" Soon everyone was wondering who Clegs was, even me.
When I had just finished asking that same question, "Who's Clegs," someone sharing the same screen as me said, "You're Clegs."
I looked and sure enough I was Clegs. I would of told them that I was supposed to be C-Legs, but I liked Clegs better.
After that every time I played a game I was Clegs, and soon every time I created an account I was Clegs. Now if I can't get Clegs I usually don't create an account there.

I love Eddie Izzards rambling about "original sin" of which poking a badger with a spoon would apply.  I poke & bother almost everything I come into contact with so not much of a stretch to think I'll be poking bees too!  I do realize they will "poke" back when I rifle through their lodgings..I would be angry if someone took the roof off my house & ripped out the pantry too!
It's fun to see how people got their names & see a little window into lives in other places!  The adventure begins!

My given name literally means "a bee".  I really didn't like my name much until I found out how awesome bees are and now I'm really proud to be named after them.  I use BeeGirl everywhere and when an alpha/numeric combo is required for a screen name, I add two digits to the end for the year of my birth.

GO BEES!

I think some User names are quite interesting. The people I have met after I have know them by their user name, usually fit the description of their user name. I could make a list but it would not serve any purpose here. :)
My name (swimmingjim) was born from an activity, White water Paddling, that I have been passionate about for the past 12 or 13 years. When paddling whitewater if you are unable to keep the canoe upright or remain in the boat due to lack or skill or any other reason, we involved in the sport will say that the paddler has taken a swim.
I started whitewater paddling at the age of 52 which is very late in life to do such a thing that requires good balance and flexibility, as those of us at this age know is not the time of our lives that we are at our physical prime...LOL  At the beginning for the first few years I was known as swimmingjim due to the fact that I was probably a record holder for the amout of swimming done by a beginner...thus the user name of swimmingjim was adopted...... :-D

My real name is Gary.     I got a piece of junk mail with my first name mispelled as Garl.    One of my co-workers thought it was funny because my last name is difficult to spell, but was spelled correctly on the junk mail.    She added the "y" and "Garly" was born.

My wife added the "Dog" part since one of my passions is training working dogs.

Hey PD!,

Do you know where Bibury is?
Its a little town that looks like it came out of one of those paintings where there are little cottages with glowing lite coming out the windows.
I used to be a subject of Great Britain until I was about 6 or 7.
I was born near Cirencester. My sis was born in Lakenheath, 5 years earlier.
your friend,
john
