Beekeeping in Bible times...

The 900 BCE date in this article maps nicely to the reign of King Solomon. Perhaps Solomon imported honey bees as well as apes and peacocks (1 Kings 10:22)?

Good find. I had to pull the bible out to see what else was said in that passage.
