« on: June 09, 2012, 11:19:13 pm »
In my second year of beekeeping on an island an island 12 miles out to sea off the coast of Maine. . I've got one topbar hive started last year and will be starting 2 Langstroth hives this week from nucs. Very interested in foundationless beekeeping and so a beek. mentor suggested this forum.

Welcome to the forum.  There is a good bit of comments on foundationless frames here.  If you have any questions just ask, someone can ususally answer it.

Well my "going slow part" is reading, reading and reading and buying a complete hive and now I just need the bees.  To tie this in with my other hobby, I have a wood shop in the back yard so its time to hit the lumber yard to build up a "few extra" parts.

The local bee keeping meeting is scheduled for the end of this month and I plan on going so lets see what goes from there.
