COMPUTER PROBLEMS
« on: May 31, 2005, 08:26:55 pm »
I was having trouble with my computer. So I called Rick the computer guy, to come over. Rick clicked a couple of buttons and solved the problem. He gave me a bill for a minimum service call. As he was walking away, I called after him,
"So, what was wrong?"
He replied,
"It was an ID ten T error."
I didn't want to appear stupid, but nonetheless inquired:
"An ID ten T error?
What's that ... in case I need to fix it again?"
The computer guy grinned....
"Haven't you ever heard of an ID ten T error before?"
"No," I replied.
"Write it down," he said, "
and I think you'll figure it out."
So I wrote out ...... I D 1 0 T
THAT's ME TO THE LEFT JUST 5 MONTHS FROM NOW!!!!!!!!

Funny! If I was a mean person, I'd have a few people to do that to. :) I'm not really great on a computer, but I've got one friend in particular who is really clueless with computers. She just bought a nice computer 2 months ago, and got the internet and all..... but she can't figure out how to send an email! She says she can't find the send button. I tried teaching her a few things, but she forgets. And she says to me..... "I just don't know what people see in the internet. I don't find it interesting at all. All I get is just one page." LOL I swear I've shown her several times how to use search engines to find what intrests her. It's almost scary how dense she is about computers - but it's a good laugh for me. :)
