Hi guys/gals - I am re-queening a weak hive, and would like to add nurse bees from other hives...can I just knock them in there?

You can probably shake some bees off of open brood from another hive into a weak hive with no problems. In a strong hive it will probably set off some fighting. A frame of emerging brood might make more of a boost and have better acceptance.
