K this is my first year of having bee's i have 2 hives that are doing good from what i can see and i got a visitor while out in doing some yard work for my fathers, my neighbor stopped by and asked me about wether or not i was going to rent them out for pollination he rents on average 10 hives for his farm and wanted to know what i would charge him if i got a few more hives next year
So my question is I live in Michigan, he owns a onion/squash farm what do people charge for renting out there hives?

I've seen prices down here in Virginia go from 50 to 150 a hive. So there is a pretty broad range also when helping him out you need 1 hive to properly pollinate 1/2 an acer of crops. Hope this helps you out.

lol, Im a newbie myself, and only in my second year, but as soon as the word was out I had bees, I have had lots of people beg for them. I just don't have enough bees yet. Must be a shortage of polinators in our great state.
