Empathy for a homesick snowbird

Empathy for a homesick snowbird
I was in Scottsdale, AZ the other day.  I saw a bumper sticker on a parked car
that read:
   "I miss Chicago."
So I broke the window, stole the radio, shot out two of the tires, added an
Obama bumper sticker and left a note that read, "Hope this helps.”

"Listen to the mustn'ts, child. Listen to the don'ts. Listen to the shouldn'ts, the impossibles, the won'ts. Listen to the never haves, then listen close to me . . . Anything can happen, child. Anything can be"

*Shel Silverstein*

Someone really ought to tell them that the world of Ayn Rand?s novel was not meant to be aspirational.

Democracy is 2 wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well armed lamb contesting the vote.
