With the highs in the 40s and lows below freezing, I finally have some time away from the bees. So I decided to join here, so we can talk about them :-D
A little something about me:
- This was my 4th year beekeeping
- I currently have 19 colonies
- This is my first year to try and overwinter nucs
- My colonies so far have been treatment-free
- I raise my own queens

Glad to have you here. Our temps are suppose to get to around 40 at night this week end. Good luck to you and your bees.

Welcome to the group Merince, it's nice to have a break from the hives.
Time to get to the wood shop and build that equipment for next season.
We got our first snow last night! :(

We in (north west) Virginia have not had snow . . . yet, but we have dad our first frost of the season. -Mike
