I have First Lessons in Beekeeping. I think its just okay. I read it in my first year of beekeeping but since then have never used  it. Don't have the other one but I would definitely recommend The Beekeeper's Handbook by Diana Sammataro.

Thanks.  I was just wondering because of the free shipping from BM this month and they have both books.  Maybe, I'll just invest in a cool breeze hat instead.

I'm still waiting for Michael Bush to convert his web pages into book form (in his spare time  :-D ).
