Title: alligator in Indiana, USA
Post by: ayyon2157 on April 18, 2007, 11:23:53 am
A 7 ft 2 inch alligator was found in a catch basin in rural, NE Indiana.  Kind of big for a pet, and noone around here knew of anyone having one.

I wish they had checked it's stomach content and figured out what caused it's death.

It was turned over to the  highway department for disposal, preseumably as "road kill".

Most likely it was brought back from florida by students on spring break, but the space required to transport it and the likelyhood that it would bite someone would make it kind of hard to handle.
