Title: How to get a local weather report for your website or signature
Post by: Mklangelo on March 03, 2008, 05:50:43 am

Go here:  http://www.wunderground.com/

then bring up the weather report for what ever area your interested.  Then about halfway down you'll see "Free weather stickers for your website"  Click there and copy and paste.

Look in your Profile, under Look and Layout Preferences.  Do you have a checkmark in the Don't Show User's Signature box?  If you do, take it out.  Also allow avatars.  Click Change Profile at the bottom right and let me know if you can see your weather thingy then.

I looked at the settings.  There are no checks in any boxes.  I still can't see it on my sig.  I can see them on others though.

I use my local TV station on the net for local doppler, then the weather for my area,"south east",
Sat. radar. Some time I just go outside and look at the sky.
You should be able to pull up local forcast for your area from your home page.
It is called your personal weather for cast. I get it. for free.

On the MSN home page, click on weather and the page comes up where you type in a city or zip code. ditto. zip works best.

Doak, check out Weather Underground (http://www.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/findweather/getForecast?query=macon%2C+georgia).  That link will take you to the Macon, GA page, if you put your zip code into the box it'll hone in on your location better.  I love this site, you can view your own local radar whenever you want, watch the rain (in my case, watch it separate and go right past me when my gardens desperately need it!) and storms.

I don't post mine. It just makes everyone jealous, especially me when I am out of town.

So you keep saying, Brendhan, but as I keep saying, not everyone is jealous!
