I really liked this video. He is a very good speaker and seems to know his subject. He is clear and seems to cover all of the bases.
I like TED.com anyway. I have spent tons of time there whatching all sorts of wonderful stuff. Now this is what the web is for education and information.

Thanks, TwT, for posting this.

I love TED also and have watched many speakers there - I particularly was struck by this guy (http://www.ted.com/index.php/talks/robert_full_on_animal_movement.html) who was studying roaches and lizards whose entire leg acts as a "distributed" foot so that if the foot is cut off, the roach, for example, can still navigate just as quickly as if the foot were there.  He was trying to make robots based on the idea of the feet of these roaches and lizards.

I also watched the "Last Lecture" by Randy Pausch on TED (no longer available on the site).  Fabulous offerings on that site - so educational.  I've not seen this bee one before and the speaker, like all the TED choices, is extraordinary.

Linda T in Atlanta, wishing everyone a good new year with your bees in 2009.

Neat video.  Hopefully I can find other videos like that and/or with him speaking.
