I'm at a loss as to what Adamant said.  To be clear, are you saying you brought home two full hives?  Are you talking about 2 brood chambers with full frames of bees, larvae, and stores?  Are you just talking about having two brood chambers with foundation in the frames?

I see the top parts of the hives, is there a bottom board?  It's kind of hard to answer a question that's so devoid of information.

Why are you "pulling" the frames?

Your post doesn't give us a lot of information to go on but it does sound like you are doing the right things. I also don't understand what you mean by "pulling". In my mind "pulling" would refer to taking frames or whatever out of the hive and not putting them back.

Are you meaning to ask if it is ok to take out individual frames in order to inspect them, and then put them back? If so, then I would say yes from what you have told us that would be fine any time now. As Jim 134 said I would have done that before purchase in order to see what I was getting for my money.

I generaly find that the more information that I can give in my posts here the better info I get back. It is easy with this format to be misunderstood so the clearer you are the better.
