Very nice video!!! Some folks would pay good money to have that colony in their window....and other's would pay it to have it removed. :-D
Enjoyed some of the other videos, too! :th_thumbsupup:

Did you have any trouble finding the colony??? 8-)
How is the colony doing now?
-
colony is grave yard dead.
About 4 weeks later we had a huge wind storm and those hives were on my out yard I forgot it was there and checked the main yard they were find then week or so later I was just looking at the other property and saw that the storm had destroyed the only 2 hives I had on that property. Took a while for me to even figure out what happen. It was a late removal so they had not glued the hive together and I didnt think of that its the only hives I have ever lost to wind they were both late removals.
Sucks but that is the honest answer.
I will do removals up close to thanksgiving if I am asked. Reason Russell bees about 60 miles south says he makes up fall nukes up till thanksgiving. If he can make a nuke I think I can do a removal.
-
If that happened at my house, I think it would be my wife pushing for removal - and she'd have to be persistent.
-
Michael,
Caught a glimpse of your little giant in the video. I curse mine every time I have to tote it, but aside from that....I love it! It's a solid, versatile tool, I've had mine for many years now, I don't use it all that often, but for certain applications, it just can't be beat. :)
-
we have two little giants and I am one big guy and that thing will hold more than anyone has ever thought. For a big guy its the best thing you can spend your money on I have one complaint its hard on the feet in the extended ladder mode.
Hey my 23 footer has wheels :-D
-
Great video!!!
-
That was one impressive removal. Real bummer about it dying. This is from the other individual accused along with you of having gap-ridden logic and bigoted conclusions.
-
Great pic, I think that would be fun to remove. FYI, JP had something like too that can be seen on his website.
-
Yeah half the removals I do I feel like JP that day he let that exposed colony drop that 40 foot.
I start opening one up and its like instant hive collapse lol. But that is the reason its never worth doing a removal for free because a lot of the time you come back with a box of nasty lol.
I wish I could have given yall a better video but it was pitch black dark by the end of this removal but I bet there wasn't a 100 bees left that I didn't suck in the vac.
