what do you do with frames after they have been extracted (to store them)

I let the bees clean them up for a day, freeze them in the freezer for a few days, then store them. I use a old commercial cooler out of a store that is air tight. Keeps the bugs out of them.

I do it the way that Adamant said except mine start on plywood on top of cinder blocks. This makes no difference. I reply only to reenforce the use of Moth Crystals
not moth balls

It is here now -7C. I will lift combs to the frost air. Moth larvae are dead tomorrow.
I really have a moth nest in my box pile. 2 metres out only.

I use Bacillus Thurigensis (BT). I spray each frame both sides then store them. I also use the same to prevent cabbage loopers and other moth larvae. OMTCW (only my two cents worth)
