Going back for round two shortly.
This was a mess, comb everywhere, honey all over the sidewalk and parking lot, bees sprawled out in several places, still 15,000 or so bees up in the tree...

Oh JP, what a mess you got there. Are you sure you got the combs in the frames facing up? I bet there will not be one sticky spot left on the ground by lunch. I am surprised you got as much comb as you did. It was hard to tell as you were scrapping up the comb, did most of the bees that were in the combs get crushed?

I hate it when that happens! Good luck finding the queen...I hope she didn't get crunched.

JP, good on ya, you'll have that all fixed up in no time, the bees will surely have a great time with fixing and cleaning up to. Nice to see these videos, love it, have that beautiful and awesome day, happiness and health. Cindi

Oh, JP. I've never heard you groan and sigh as much as you did in this one. I wouldn't have known where to even begin...sigh and groan and scrape the comb off the sidewalk with a spatula and sigh and groan. I think someone needs to buy you a headlamp.
Now, I'm going to eat my dinner and hurry back here for part II.

Your right TwoHoneys, about JP needs a headlamp. I think his right hand man should stop a bring him a shake when he comes over. ;)

I actually own a headlamp and keep it in the truck.
Finding it, well, that's another story altogether... :-D
