How do I upload a picture?
« on: June 02, 2014, 08:27:28 pm »
I've done it before but now I can't figure it out.
When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would
not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, "I used everything You gave me"

seems alot simpler on this site than others. Hit Add Image to post, check Family Safe, Browse your computer files, double click the file, and hit upload it. Hope this helped. G :chop:

At what point are we allowed to upload pictures and post links?

If you have a photobucket account, or similar cloud photo service, they usually have an "img" tag you can copy and paste onto a post.  That's how I do it.

DallasBeek,
You received an automatic notice until you had sufficient post on the forum. We had trouble early on with spam members joining and some things got through that you would not like to have children or Grandma see. This is not meant to be punitive. A new memeber can always forward photos to
photos@beemaster.com
and notate the thread they would like to attach it to and their username so it gets posted properly.
It is best to post the image to postimage or imageshack and post the link for a thumbnail in your thread. If you have a photobucket account you can use that link also, but many people let their accounts expire and the photos come through as a dead link.

Good point BuzzBee.  When I re-organized my photobucket account a while back some photos went to never never land.

I had that problem with an earlier photo host. It can happen anywhere, but I maintain a paid account at photobucket and store a lot of pics on my google account.

Buzzbee,

I understand completely the reason for it.  Thanks for your info and for administering the website.  I've learned a lot and really like the way it is organized.
