Hi from Central Alberta, Canada
« on: April 05, 2009, 12:26:30 am »
Hello,
This is my second year as a beekeeper.  Have 10 hives that survived the winter.  I want to try my hand at raising a few queens this year and increase # of hives.  was browsing the net for beekeeping info and stumbled across this site.  Seems to be a lot of great info and help here for beekeepers.  so i decided to join and become part of it.

Syphon1, welcome to our forum, I am from southwestern B.C., what city in Alberta?  So nice that you have found us and great that your bees came through the bitter cold of your province.  I did not do so well, 8 of 9 died.  You will love to spend time on our forum.  It will be a place where you can tell your stories, tales, experiences, make new friends -- we love new members, stick around.  Have the best of a great and wonderful day, love life, great health.  Cindi

Welcome Syphon1. I LOVE Alberta! I have visited there many times. I did like the West Edmonton Mall, great place to visit.

Cindi, in a previous life, when I was employed, made more money, and did not have grandchildren living with me, we traveled some. Me mostly for my job. But, as I said, that was another life.
