Title: Anyone know what kind of honeybee this is?

If anyone can tell by the markings, I would just like to know.

Yes, I am fairly certain that they are feral bees. As far as I can tell there isn't anyone within 3 miles of me keeping bees.

And yes, I would say a very happy bee. :)

Looks like a regular honeybee, probably Italian.

i haven't heard anyone call them "3 banded" in a long time.  how long have you been doing this allen?
looks italian to me.
