First cutout, JP you make it look so easy????
« on: July 07, 2013, 11:08:20 am »
Spent the Fourth of July doing my first cutout. 28' up in the soffit. 18" in the soffit and the rest in the ceiling. 5' x 5' of the blackest comb you ever saw. Not a drop of capped honey. Very little brood and 3+lbs. of bee's. Ended up with 55# of comb. all intertwined. What a mess. JP your the man.

Not as easy as it looks sometimes. Some can be a real bugger to get out.

Hey, you have to start somewhere, might as well up in the clouds. I'm sure you had a great view!  :-D

You learn with everyone you do, sounds like that was a tough one & for your first one too, you deserve something.  ;)

A miserable, hard job, and I bet you can't wait to do the next one! :-D
