Nwe sarm moved in-get to abscond?
« on: June 28, 2010, 07:53:32 pm »
Just got a call from a couple who watched a swarm move in under their siding this afternoon.  Are there any tricks to get them to abscond at this point outside of cutting and vacuming?

I always wonder if heavy heavy smoking will get a colony to leave.

It dissipates in 2 to 4 hours. Besides, it smells good.

NOT honey robber or bee go. It never leaves, and stinks worse than a skunk.

Thanks Idee, I have some Bee Quick.  Will give that a try before cutting into it.  Owners are deathly afraid of bees and of course they are right next to their front porch.  This was supposed to be an easy swarm that Joker passed to me.  Guess we are even:)

You need to get it done before the first egg hatches. Once they have larva, it's doubtful that it will work.

Owner took care of it for me before I had a chance to even take a look:(  Win some you lose some.
